MyClearCost (“we”) operates this website. Calculators are designed to run in your browser. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not store your mortgage, income, or debt figures on a server we control.
Information you type into calculators
Home prices, rates, balances, and similar inputs stay on your device unless you choose to send them in an email. We cannot see those numbers. If your browser keeps a localStorage flag for the cookie banner, that flag is only “accepted” or “rejected” — not your salary or loan amount.
Contact emails
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix the issue you reported. We do not sell email lists or use contact mail for advertising. You may ask us to delete an email you sent.
Cookies and local storage
We may set a small localStorage flag so the cookie notice does not return every visit. Essential pages (calculators, guides, this policy) work if you reject extra cookies.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may use Google AdSense to display ads on this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also visit www.aboutads.info/choices to opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising.

When Google assigns a publisher ID, we will list it in ads.txt so only authorized sellers can offer this domain. We do not control third-party ad cookies or the content of ads served by Google.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are used, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the site is working. Google may set cookies or similar identifiers and process data as described in Google’s analytics privacy materials. Calculator inputs (salary, loan amounts) are not sent as form fields to Analytics.
If you choose “Reject extra cookies,” we ask Google to disable analytics storage. The Google tag still loads so the site can be verified; it does not keep using analytics cookies after you reject.
Children
This site is for adults making household finance decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices (United States)
You may request that we delete an email you sent. We do not sell personal information. For California residents, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA/CPRA for calculator inputs we never collect. If advertising partners process identifiers for ads, their policies apply to those technologies.
